Vietnam's new Law on Competition is due to take effect on 1 July 2019, replacing its 14-year-old predecessor.

Given the widened scope of application and the shift towards a more stringent approach, the new Law is expected to have a significant impact on how enterprises, especially MNCs, in a variety of industries conduct their day-to-day business.

To help ease the transition LNT & Partners brought together a Roundtable discussion on the new Law. Our competition law partner, Dr Nguyen Anh Tuan, and guest speaker highlighted to our clients key changes in the new Law, how they affect businesses and what should be done in preparation.
