LNT & Partners is honoured to have acted as the sole counsel to PVPower, a leading electricity producer in Vietnam with various power plants across the country and abroad, to successfully negotiate a Long Term Maintenance Agreement for Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 LNG-fuelled power plants (LTMA) with GE Global Parts & Products GmbH and GE International Inc. (GE). As Vietnam’s first LNG-fuelled thermal power plants, both these plants are expected to contributes to Vietnam’s commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The successful negotiation of the LTMA for these plants, therefore, plays a significant part in ensuring such goal will be reached, as well as marking a major milestone in the development PVPower as a whole.

The team led by our partner Le Net with the support of associate Vo Phuong Thao assisted our client on all stages throughout the entire 8-month-long negotiation process.
